“Cocktails with Cows” is a blog about a cowboy who became a world-renowned artist, but didn’t want to leave his country roots behind. The name comes from the neighborhood’s summer evening tradition of meeting down at Mike’s cows for a drink. The neighbors walk or ride their ATV’s over to Mike’s and sit in the evening having a drink, enjoying each other’s company and the cows, Mike’s big pets, quietly eating hay on the other side of the fence. Hanging out with cows is very peaceful. Mike uses his time with the cows as a stress release, when the neighbors noticed how much Mike enjoyed it, they started to show up too. The term “Cocktails with Cows” was born.
